Fijian boxer Sera Bolatini is gearing up for a major showdown against Australian competitor Connie Chan in pursuit of the Super Welter WBA Oceania Title at the ZEG Kings Boxing Promotion event tonight in Suva. This contest marks Bolatini’s first attempt at a title since transitioning from a successful career in rugby, where she represented the Fijiana 7s team.
At the weigh-in held yesterday at Sukuna Park in Suva, Bolatini weighed in at 68.5 kg, while Chan tipped the scales slightly heavier at 69.3 kg. Bolatini expressed her excitement and determination, stating, “All I say is to go there and enjoy myself,” reflecting her focus on both performance and enjoyment of the experience.
