Fiji Year 8 Students Gear Up for Crucial Examination Today

A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are set to take the Fiji Year Eighth Examination today at 717 centers. Acting Minister for Education and Minister for Fisheries and Forests, Alitia Bainivalu, emphasized that this exam not only evaluates students’ knowledge and skills but also reflects their diligence and dedication.

Bainivalu acknowledged that preparing for exams can stir a range of feelings, from excitement to anxiety. She encouraged students to have faith in their preparations, pointing out that this examination is merely a stepping stone in their educational path.

Assistant Minister for Education, Iliesa Vanawalu, urged students to remain confident in their capabilities and to approach the exam with composure. He highlighted the significance of resilience and determination, motivating Year 8 students to maintain their focus.

Both officials encouraged parents, guardians, and teachers to offer essential support to help students concentrate during this pivotal time.
