Approximately 13,975 students are set to take the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) starting tomorrow, with exams taking place across 177 centers throughout Fiji. Among these, three new examination centers have been introduced: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in the Suva district, Nakorotubu Secondary School in Ra, and Muaira Methodist College in Lautoka Yasawa.

The FY12CE will run from November 12 to 22. Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has offered his encouragement to the students, highlighting the importance of community support during this critical time.

“As you prepare for and approach your external examination, remember that this exam is a significant milestone that reflects your hard work and determination, serving as a stepping stone toward your future goals,” Mr. Radrodro stated. He urged students to trust in their preparation and to approach each exam with confidence and focus, acknowledging that this period can bring both excitement and challenges.

Emphasizing the role of families and communities, Mr. Radrodro encouraged them to lift the spirits of the students. He advised all students to prioritize their well-being by getting sufficient rest and maintaining a positive mindset throughout the examination period.

This examination marks a pivotal moment for the students, and with adequate preparation and support from families and communities, they are well-positioned to succeed.

In a hopeful twist, the community’s involvement can foster a supportive environment that bolsters students’ confidence, ensuring that they tackle these exams with resilience and optimism.
