Approximately 13,975 students across Fiji are set to begin their Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) tomorrow at 177 designated examination centers. This year marks the addition of three new examination centers: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in the Suva district, Nakorotubu Secondary School in the Ra district, and Muaira Methodist College in the Lautoka Yasawa district, according to the Ministry of Education.

The FY12CE will take place from November 12 to November 22. Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has extended his best wishes to the students, highlighting the crucial role of community support during this pivotal time. He expressed that this examination symbolizes a significant transition, reflecting the students’ hard work and serving as a gateway to their future ambitions.

“Have faith in the preparation you have made and tackle each exam paper with assurance and concentration,” Mr. Radrodro advised, acknowledging the blend of excitement and pressure that often accompanies exams. He also reiterated the importance of support from parents, guardians, and the wider community in fostering a positive atmosphere for the students. Furthermore, he encouraged students to prioritize their well-being by ensuring they rest adequately and maintain a positive mindset.

In light of these examinations, it is hopeful to see such a dedicated cohort of students preparing to take their next steps in education. Their commitment and the communal support surrounding them are vital ingredients for success.
