Fiji Women’s Futsal Head Coach Jerry Sam has highlighted the team’s eagerness to learn and progress as their key strength. The squad is currently in the Solomon Islands for the inaugural OFC Women’s Futsal Championship and is preparing for their opening match against Tahiti.
“The girls have trained hard for the tournament. They’re focused on the future, and representing Fiji is a significant goal for them all,” Sam stated.
He also noted that the players have been supportive of one another and are adapting well, showing a desire to learn something new each day as they embark on this journey.
Sam emphasized that he would be better able to evaluate the team’s performance following their first game against Tahiti on Saturday, expressing full confidence in his team’s abilities.
