Seven international teams have been confirmed to participate in the upcoming McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament, set to take place in Sigatoka next month. The event will feature the prestigious New Zealand and Samoan national teams, bringing significant attention to the competition.
In addition to these notable teams, the Australian and New Zealand development squads will join the lineup. Representing the United States will be the Seattle Barbarians and Bula Bay 7s, alongside the talented Mike Friday Selection side, which boasts a roster of renowned players.
Local teams will also be competing, including the defending champions, the Fiji 7s team, as well as Fijian Drua 7s, BLK Lavidi Brothers, Tuva Rugby, Devo Babas, Ratu Filise, Colo West Highlanders, Taikita Brothers, and Brothers Club.
The tournament is scheduled to occur at Lawaqa Park from January 16 to 18, promising an exciting display of rugby talent and competition.
