Situation: We’ve got a bit of a party going on to the west of the Fiji group with a low-pressure trough trying to steal the show! It’s bringing along some clouds and showers, especially for our friends in the west, while a spirited northwest wind flow keeps things interesting.
Forecast until the stroke of midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Expect some dramatic cloud formations with showers making special appearances over Natadola, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Yasawa, and Mamanuca group. Don’t worry, as fine weather should make an occasional guest appearance over Bua, Lekutu, Dreketi, Seaqaqa, Labasa, Namuka, Udu Point, and the interior regions of Wailevu, Vaturova, Saqani, Taveuni, and nearby small islands. The Lau and Lomaiviti groups are also on the guest list for fine weather.
For those in Navua, Suva, and Nausori: A fine day beckons, with just a sprinkle of afternoon and evening showers and a dramatic twist involving isolated thunderstorms that might bring some heavy rainfall.
