In a delightful twist of nature, a southeast wind flow is making itself comfortable over our beautiful islands. Meanwhile, a not-so-shy trough of low pressure is set to shimmy in from the south on Saturday, bringing a splash of clouds and some showers to the southern and eastern regions. No umbrella? No problem! Just remember, the more you get caught in the rain, the better your chances of a spontaneous dance party!
Now, onto tonight’s forecast for our iconic Fiji group:
Expect a fine evening, but don’t be surprised by a quick sprinkle if you’re in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Kadavu, and the nearby islands. Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, you might want to keep your raincoat close at hand too. Elsewhere, it looks like a lovely evening, but don’t let your guard down for those sneaky afternoon or evening showers! And yes, we even have a chance of some dramatic thunderstorms over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Grab your popcorn!
Moderate south to southeast winds are here to gently sway your hairdos, and don’t forget the moderate seas – perfect for sailing or simply contemplating life while staring at the ocean!
Now, what’s brewing for Saturday?
You guessed it! Occasional showers will be hanging out over Sigatoka to Korolevu, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Kadavu, and their island buddies. Meanwhile, other regions might just be partly cloudy with some well-timed afternoon or evening rain showers. And, call the weather dramatic because heavy falls and isolated thunderstorms could burst through.

– For the lovely souls in Navua, Suva, and Nausori: Expect a fine time with brief showers. Min: 21, Max: 30. Look out for occasional showers tomorrow, with a Min: 23, Max 29.
– For Natadradave/Korovou: Same delightful surprises, Min: 21, Max: 30. Get ready for some theatrics tomorrow with showers and possible heavy falls.
– Sigatoka and Coral Coast dwellers: The sun is your buddy today! Min: 21, Max: 31. But don’t forget, the showers love to make surprise appearances tomorrow!
– Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba: Fine with a sprinkle here and there, Min: 22, Max: 33. Look out for partly cloudy skies tomorrow, with Min: 23, Max: 31.
– Our friends in Tavua/Rakiraki: Good vibes only today! Min: 22, Max: 33. Prepare for a minor cloud show tomorrow.
– Yasawa/Mamanuca group folks: Blissfully breezy days ahead with a dash of afternoon matinée showers, Min: 22, Max: 31. Tomorrow’s forecast promises the same charm!
– Labasa: Looks fine today with a brief shower or two. Min: 22, Max: 33. Tomorrow? A little bit of drama with showers.
– Savusavu: Enjoy your day, but keep an eye on those brief showers. Min: 21, Max: 30. Tomorrow, expect more showers and occasional heavy falls.
– Nabouwalu, Taveuni, Lau and Lomaiviti group, and Kadavu: All the same! Showers will be popping in to say hi, Min: 21, Max: 30. Tomorrow brings more of the same.
