Greetings, weather watchers of Fiji! As the sun rises over our beautiful islands, it seems like a personal favorite guest has decided to pay us a visit—the Southeast Wind! It’s been blowing away concerns, hats, and possibly a few more lightweight items with speeds reaching up to 45km/hr in parts of Ra-Rakiraki, Southern Bua, and beyond. Worry not, because these persistent breezes plan to call it a day later, settling into a more leisurely pace.

Now, if you’re in Suva, Nausori, or anywhere in between, be prepared for cloudy periods sprinkled with some brief showers that won’t hang around too long—just long enough to keep things interesting. Prediction: moderate coolness by night, nothing a cozy blanket can’t handle.

On the sun-drenched side, Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba are basking in fine weather today. Let’s hope everyone’s SPF is handy because the sun’s in a mood to shine brightly! Evening brings a cool embrace, perfect weather to sip something refreshing.

For those adventurous souls near Rakiraki or on the Yasawa/Mamanuca adventure route, steady yourselves for the brisk winds, calming later. Meanwhile, Labasa continues its sunny streak, while Savusavu teases with occasional showers.

Up in Rotuma, brace for those spirited southeast winds; it’s a blustery dance with nature, in full swing. Secure anything light and test out those wind-lusting kites if you’ve got them.

No matter where you are today, remember: the weather is like a good suspense novel—sometimes predictable, yet full of delightful twists. Hang tight for the calmer, cooler nights ahead, and remember to embrace the slight unpredictability as the zest of island living!
