So, what’s brewing in the Fijian skies? Well, we’ve got a lovely east to northeast wind flow sashaying over the Fiji group, like it just came from a tropical dance party. But wait! There’s a mischievous little trough of low pressure creeping in from the west, ready to shake things up starting later today. Because who doesn’t love a surprise rain shower, right?
Here’s what you can expect until midnight tomorrow. For our friends in Eastern Macuata, Cakaudrove, the Navua-Suva-Nausori triangle, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Lau, and the Lomaiviti group, expect some cloudy periods and showers looking to party with you. Meanwhile, thunder and rain are getting their outfits ready for an appearance later tonight.
Elsewhere, expect a bit of mixed weather — partly cloudy here, a brief shower there. Showers will be making their grand debut later in the day. Keep an umbrella handy, because isolated heavy falls may sneak up on low-lying areas, potentially leading to flash flooding. No need for a pool party when Mother Nature has got it covered!
And what about your seas? They’ll be moderate to rough as our winds do a little pirouette from east to northeast later today. Nighttime? Well, pack an extra blanket because it’s going to get cool, folks.
