The heavy rain warning for the Fiji group has been officially lifted. The Fiji Meteorological Service reports that a trough of low pressure responsible for bringing cloud and rain remains stationary to the south of the group, continuing to impact certain areas across Fiji.

Although the warning has been canceled, there is still a prediction of isolated heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, particularly affecting Vatulele, Beqa, Kadavu, and the Southern Lau region. In addition, cloudy conditions with showers are expected, and there may also be isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms later in the day for areas such as Tavua-Rakiraki, Tailevu, Interior Ra, Naitasiri, Interior Serua to Namosi, Nasinu-Nausori, Lami-Suva, Coastal Serua-Namosi, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, and nearby smaller islands.

It is important for residents and travelers in these areas to remain cautious and be prepared for possible weather-related disruptions.

In a positive light, the lifting of the heavy rain warning offers a sense of relief for many, as most can resume their daily activities without the immediate concern of severe weather. The anticipated rain can also provide necessary moisture to support local agriculture and replenish water supplies, highlighting the importance of balanced weather systems.
