Good morning, Fijians! The weather forecast is here to spice up your day with a bit of excitement. This is your official weather gossip straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi, issued at the crack of dawn (5:30 am) on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Today across the Fiji group, you can expect mostly fine weather, except for the occasional brief showers sneaking in over the Sigatoka-Coral Coast, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Kadavu, and a few nearby islands, as well as the Southern Bua and Cakaudrove Province, Lau, and the Lomaiviti group. So, you might want to keep an umbrella handy, but only for those “just-in-case” moments—kind of like saving room for dessert!
The winds will be moderate and coming from the southwest, giving you a breezy day to contemplate life’s biggest questions, like “Why is my coffee always too hot?” As night falls, it’s going to cool down nicely, which means it’s snuggle-up-on-the-couch-and-watch-a-movie weather.
Now, let’s peek into the forecast for tomorrow, Friday. Guess what? It’s still going to be fine, apart from those sneaky brief showers in the same usual spots. So, yes, it looks like your umbrella will get some exercise tomorrow too!
Let’s break it down by some popular locations across Fiji:
