Hey there, weather enthusiasts and sunshine seekers! It looks like the Fiji group is in for a bit of a mixed bag over the next 24 hours. We’ve got cloudy periods making a guest appearance, along with a sprinkle of showers poking around Navua, Suva-Nausori, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri-Tailevu, Rakiraki, Cakaudrove, Southern Bua provinces, as well as Kadavu and those charming smaller islands, Lau, and Lomaiviti. But don’t worry, if you find yourself elsewhere in Fiji, you’re in for a mainly fine treat!

As the night rolls in, expect some coolness that might make you wonder if you’ve accidentally trekked to Antarctica; but fear not, it’s just a mild Fijian evening chill. Winds will be moderate to fresh from the east to southeast, which basically means Mother Nature is giving us a gentle push to keep our hats on.

And the seas? Well, they’re feeling a bit temperamental – moderate to rough at times. So, if you spot a rogue wave, just wave back in jest!

Looking ahead to Thursday, the forecast has a similar vibe: mainly fine weather, but don’t be surprised if our regular shower friends drop by briefly in the same provinces mentioned earlier.

For more specific areas:

Navua / Suva / Nausori: Expect some cloudy moments with brief showers. Nights will be cool enough to make you think about cozy sweaters or cuddly blankets.

Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Mainly fine. Just remember to enjoy the cool evenings, perhaps with a book in hand and a cup of something warm.

Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Fine and dandy, with coolness settling in at night. Perfect for star gazing, if cloud cover permits!

Tavua/Rakiraki: Cloudy with a few brief showers over Rakiraki, but mainly fine around the edges. Don’t forget to grab a light jacket for those cool nights.

Natadradave/Korovou: Cloudy intervals with brief showers; night coolness will remind you that “night” exists.

Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Mainly fine! That’s right, no drama here. Nights will cool your heels.

Labasa: Looking good with fine weather and those gentle night-time chills.

Savusavu: Cloudy periods with brief showers—keeping you on your toes—paired with cool nights.

Lau/Lomaiviti and Kadavu: Cloudy periods with some brief showers, promising cool nights. It seems this trend continues!

And for the adventurous souls in Rotuma, there’s a STRONG WIND WARNING remaining in effect. A pesky low-pressure trough is sticking around, looking to party with some clouds and showers, topped off with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. The seas are feeling a little rough, so make sure your sea legs are sturdy!

Outlook for Thursday shows more of the same scattered showers and a touch of thunder in Rotuma. So, if the weather gods are listening, keep your umbrellas handy but don’t let that stop the fun!

Happy weather-watching, folks!
