Attention, fabulous Fijians! If you’ve got plans to take your favorite beach towel out for an airing, you might want to check the weather first. Here’s what Mother Nature has in store for us until midnight tomorrow:
Expect some clouds playing peek-a-boo with brief showers sprinkling over the interior and coastal areas of the southern stretches of Viti Levu, from Sigatoka to Suva, and all the way to Korovou. That includes Kadavu and its little pals, the interior and southern parts of Vanua Levu, Taveuni, and a few smaller islands in the mix. But fear not! The rest of the Fijian paradise will be basking in the fine weather glow.
Nighttime will be cool, so it’s a perfect excuse to jump into your snuggly pajamas a bit earlier!
The winds will be blowing from the south to southeast – moderate but occasionally feeling like they’re auditioning for a gusty role in a wind ballet. The seas? Well, let’s just say moderate to rough, so make sure your boat is ready for a ride.
Looking ahead to Tuesday: We’re not throwing out the umbrellas just yet! Cloudy periods and brief showers are set to return to the southeastern parts of Viti Levu and the same lineup of islands mentioned earlier. Meanwhile, everywhere else will have fine and dandy weather.
Now, let’s break it down by location:
For Navua, Suva, and Nausori:
Expect some clouds and those brief showers. Make sure to keep your umbrella close and your sweaters closer; cool nights await!
For Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba:
Looking like a dream with mainly fine weather. Cool nights to cuddle up in to boot!
For the Coral Coast and Sigatoka:
Cloudy periods are still in the forecast, but just brief showers. So don’t forget your raincoat on your stroll.
For Tavua and Rakiraki:
You’re mostly set with fine weather. Those cool nights are here to keep things cozy!
Natadradave and Korovou:
Get ready for cloudy periods but don’t panic! We’re just talking brief showers. More cool nights coming your way.
Yasawa and Mamanuca group:
Dancing along with mainly fine weather and cool nights, just like you like it!
Labasa:
Rejoice in fine weather and enjoy the cool nights, this is your time to shine!
Savusavu:
More clouds and brief showers but don’t let that rain on your parade! Cool nights still make for good snuggling.
Lau and Lomaiviti group:
Clouds and brief showers are your forecast buddies. Smooth sailing on those cool nights!
Kadavu:
Also joining the cloudy party with brief showers. Cool nights will create the perfect vibe for some hot cocoa.
Rotuma:
Heads up! A low-pressure trough is visiting your area, bringing occasional rain and an enthusiastic zap of thunderstorms. Winds will be moderate to fresh, and remember to brace for some moderate to rough seas.
