Weather Bulletin

Good morning, everyone! Buckle up for today’s weather forecast, served sunny-side up with a touch of humor.

It’s Sunday, June 1st, 2025, and the weather department from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi has whipped up a delightful mix of clouds and showers for parts of Fiji. So grab your umbrella and your sense of humor, because it looks like Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, along with Kadavu and its smaller buddies, are in for a bit of a damp squib today.

The rest of you can expect fine weather, just the way you like it – perfect for plots of sunbathing, provided you can dodge those sneaky afternoon or evening showers. Don’t worry, tonight will cool off nicely, a welcome relief, especially if you’ve been sweating during today’s potential rain dance.

Southeast winds will be moderate to fresh, so if your hair resembles a lion’s mane, just blame it on the wind – it’s not you, it’s the weather! And for those venturing into the seas, brace yourself for moderate to rough conditions. Maybe it’s the perfect excuse to stay on solid ground for the day.

Looking ahead to Monday: the forecast continues in a similar vein with cloudy periods and showers making their appearance over those same regions. For Navua, Suva, and Nausori folks, you guessed it – more clouds and showers! Grab those raincoats, my friends!

In Sigatoka and the Coral Coast, it seems the sun will smile down, but those sneaky isolated showers may also decide to crash the party – typical! Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba residents can also expect nice weather with maybe a cheeky shower trying to pop up later.

Tavua and Rakiraki will see some clouds and showers too, while Natadradave and Korovou aren’t missing out on the cloud party either, although fine weather is making a guest appearance. Yasawa and Mamanuca group members, rejoice! Your forecast seems mostly bright, though remain vigilant for those surprise showers.

In Labasa, comfort is key with lovely weather expected, alongside the likelihood of a shower or two. Savusavu, Lau, and Lomaiviti, prepare for some clouds and occasional rain – it’s just nature’s way of cleaning!

For our friends in Kadavu, it’s a similar story with a cloudy sky and showers making it feel a bit cozy. And let’s not forget Rotuma, where strong winds are blowing in – sailors, keep a firm grip on your hats!

So there you have it – a forecast that could keep you guessing and entertained! Stay dry, and may your BBQ plans remain unaffected by the showers!
