Greetings, weather watchers of Fiji! Hold onto your umbrellas (or maybe take them out of the cupboard) because we’ve got some cloud cover on the agenda.

This Monday morning is serving up a delightful mix of cloudy intervals and brief showers, particularly for the Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, and Tailevu-Raitasiri-Ra areas, as well as the ever-charming islands of Kadavu, Lau, and Lomaiviti, along with Southern Bua and Cakaudrove. The rest of us can expect to bask in mainly fine weather… at least until the clouds decide they want some attention too!

As night falls, you’ll likely want to grab a light sweater—things will be a bit cooler. A moderate breeze will be blowing from the east, so if your hair takes flight, blame it on the weather!

Looking into Tuesday’s crystal ball, expect more of the same: cloudy with a sprinkle of showers in the Navua-Suva-Nausori, Kadavu, Lau, Lomaiviti groups, as well as eastern Macuata. And guess what? It’s still going to be cool at night, so keep that sweater handy!

Now, if you’re in Navua/Suva/Nausori, get ready for periods of cloudiness with those pesky brief showers. The temps will feel like a cozy 17°C at night and warm up to a balmy 27°C during the day.

For those in Nadi/Lautoka/Ba, it’s mostly sunshine and smiles, with cool nights keeping you company. Daytime highs can tiptoe up to 29°C while nighttime lows flirt with 18°C.

The Coral Coast and Tavua/Rakiraki regions? Mainly fine weather is your jam! Expect lovely days and cool nights, both hovering around the same delightful high of 29°C.

If you find yourself in Natadradave/Korovou or anywhere from Yasawa to Mamanuca, be prepared for some cloudy gossip and brief showers. It’ll be a snug night for you too; keep that temperature, like your mood, around 18°-29°C.

Huddled up in Labasa? It’s mainly fine too, with night-time comfort at 18°C and a warm embrace of 30°C during the day.

Savusavu, Nabouwalu, and Taveuni aren’t off the hook either; expect some rainy intermissions followed by peaceful cool nights around 18°C to 29°C.

And last but not least, Rotuma is experiencing a bit more excitement with some showers and possibly a thunderstorm wanting to make a cameo. It could get pretty lively over there with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 29°C.

So, keep your chin up and your raincoat ready, Fiji! It looks like Mother Nature is feeling a bit moody, but we’ll take the cloudy charm with a side of sunshine any day!
