Weather Update from the National Weather Forecasting Centre, Nadi
Well, folks, gather ’round because the weather is about to get a little wacky! As of 7:30 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2025, our weather is feeling a bit under the weather itself. A weak trough of low pressure is meandering away from Fiji, while an east to southeast breeze is making itself comfortable.
Now, what can you expect for the Fiji group until midnight tomorrow? You might want to grab an umbrella—or at least a raincoat—because it’s looking cloudy with a good chance of showers hovering over our beloved Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, along with Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, and the Lomaiviti groups. Small islands nearby are also in for a sprinkle. Elsewhere? You may have luck dodging any moisture, just a few isolated brief showers here and there. And don’t forget, nights are set to be cool enough to require a snuggle blanket—perfect for Netflixing or reading those dusty novels you keep meaning to get to! Expect moderate to fresh easterly breezes and seas that might just give you a rough ride if you’re planning any midnight fishing.
Now, let’s peek into Monday’s crystal ball: Cloudy patches with some droplets are set to strut their stuff across the same areas, with perhaps a little sunshine here and there just to keep things interesting. The temperature will remain consistent—cool nights included!
If you’re hanging out in Navua, Suva, or Nausori, prepare yourself for some cloud action mixed with showers. Your day starts with a minimum of 18 degrees and a maximum of 26 degrees—perfect for the indecisive dressers among us!
Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba look like they’re getting away with some partly cloudy skies, with a high of 29 degrees tomorrow. Keep that drink cool, and you should be just fine!
They’re calling for fine weather for Sigatoka and Coral Coast too, until those pesky afternoon or evening showers decide to drop by. Expect temperatures hovering around 19 to 30 degrees—almost like the weather can’t quite make up its mind!
Now let’s not forget Tavua and Rakiraki, where you’ll face a similar situation with partly cloudy skies and shared showering duties.
And for all our friends in Labasa, Savusavu, Taveuni, and the adorable Yawasa/Mamanuca group, stay on alert for that friendly cloudiness. Temperatures are pretty cozy winding up from 19 degrees at night to 30 degrees during the day.
As for our friends down in Rotuma, you’ve got a weather party brewing with occasional rain, a couple of thunderstorms, and a lovely breeze. Your weather will swing from 24 to 28 degrees, so stay vigilant and enjoy those tropical vibes!
So there you have it, folks! If you don’t like today’s weather, just wait a few minutes, because who knows, it might surprise you—hopefully not with too much rain!
