Hold onto your hats because the wind has no plans to clock out early across our lovely coastal zones in Ra-Rakiraki, Southern Bua, Eastern Macuata, Yasawa, Lau, and beyond. A southeast breeze is busy making an appearance with some serious gusto, reaching a brisk 45 km/hr. Thankfully, it’s set to dial it down come bedtime. But for now, let the rugged charm of rough seas do its thing.

As for the forecast for the Fiji group through to midnight tomorrow, expect those strong southeast winds to continue swirling over specific areas like Ra-Rakiraki, Yasawa, and the usual island suspects. Elsewhere, think of the winds as having their morning coffee—fresh with a side of gusts. Seas are getting their rough on, too.

For the enthusiastic cloud spotters around Serua-Namosi or Suva, expect a few cloudy periods with a quick shower sprinkle from time to time. The rest of you lucky folks elsewhere might enjoy a mainly sunny setup with the cool night air giving a sneak preview of sweater weather.

Wednesday keeps teasing with cloudy moments across places like Cakaudrove and Taveuni, sprinkled with some brief showers. Essentially, if you’re contemplating a picnic, best bring an umbrella because even sunshine whispers enjoy a quick drizzle now and then.

For the zonked-out residents of Navua, Suva, and Nausori, gear up for some misty hugging clouds with brief showers. The night will stay cool—perfect for sipping warm cocoa. In contrast, Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba will revel in fine weather deserving a recommendation from the tourism board.

If you’re keeping company with Rakiraki’s vibe, brace for boisterous winds and brief showers. But fear not, calmer seas are on the horizon. With cloudy periods up for grabs, Natadradave and Korovou might want to perfect that rain-dance ritual for luck.

Yasawa and Mamanuca escape much of the storm’s rattling abodes but keep a close eye on those playful gusts of 45km/hr, promising to take it easy later.

In Labasa and Sigatoka, sunny skies pull a fast one with just the occasional cheeky shower crashing the party. Better keep an eye on the sky indeed.

Savusavu’s weather is practically auditioning for a romcom with clouds passing by for those fleeting, romantic showers. Nabouwalu and Taveuni follow suit with some winds hitching a nearby ride but never staying long.

Down by Kadavu Island, expect a cozy date with the clouds and an occasional shower interloper. Rotuma certainly doesn’t shy away with potential thunderstorm energy bubbling over with its own dazzle drama.

Expect Wednesday to be a slow dance into lighter winds. Mother Nature ever keeps us guessing, especially around Rotuma where the clouds have major plans.

So, as wise weather veterans always say, keep an umbrella handy and your spirit even handier for these beautifully unpredictable days to come!
