Weather Update
Greetings, weather watchers! We’ve got the scoop straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi, delivered just in time for your evening cup of cocoa… or whatever falls into your cup these days!
Presently, we’re enjoying the gentle embrace of a southeast wind, while a sneaky little trough of low pressure is eyeing us from the south, planning to crash the party this Saturday. Expect some clouds and showers to crash the festivities in the southern and eastern regions.
Now, for your delightful forecast until midnight tomorrow in our beautiful Fiji group: brace yourselves for a fine day with just a few surprise showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Kadavu, and some of those smaller enchanting islands. Oh, and don’t forget: southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, and their petite island pals, along with Lau and Lomaiviti groups, might see some drizzles too.
In other news, it appears the rest of us will bask in clear skies, with only a chance of those pesky afternoon or evening showers trying to steal some thunder, literally. Yes, you heard right! Viti Levu and Vanua Levu might just throw in some electrifying thunderstorms for added drama.
The winds will be moderate, so hold onto your hats unless you fancy a walk down the street without it. Seas will be moderate too, perfect for a chill day of dodging waves and imaginary sea monsters.
As for Saturday’s outlook, expect a sprinkle of occasional showers around Sigatoka to Korolevu, and the southern islands. Partly cloudy weather is also on the menu, but rest assured, it won’t leave you completely in the dark!
