Weather Bulletin
Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at 3:30pm on Thursday the 19th of February 2026
Situation: Hold onto your hats, folks! A southeast wind is making its way across our beautiful islands. However, a weak trough of low pressure is expected to crash the party over the southern and eastern areas tomorrow.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Today:
Mostly fine weather will reign supreme, with a few sneaky showers puffing up in the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands. By the afternoon or evening, expect a splash of excitement with isolated showers and possibly even some thunderstorms in southern Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

Soggy spots will include Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra-Rakiraki, Kadavu, and a few smaller islands nearby. The rest of you can bask in the sun, with just a few rogue showers threatening to show up uninvited. Isolated thunderstorms with potential heavy falls might also just decide to pop in. Moderate southeasterly winds will keep us cool, but moderate seas will remind us that the ocean has plans of its own!
