Hey there, fellow weather-watchers! If you’re hoping for perfect sunshine, you may need to adjust your expectations, because today’s forecast sounds like a tropical soap opera: moist easterly winds, showers, and drama all around!
Currently, those pesky moist winds are blowing over the group like they own the place, while a weak rainy trough is trying its best to drift south without making too much of a fuss. Think of it as a lazy river ride, but instead of a relaxing float, we’ve got clouds and showers on the agenda.
Here’s what to expect until midnight tomorrow for our fair Fiji group:
– Kadavu and those neighboring little islands, along with Lau and Lomaiviti, you might want to hold on to your hats. It’s going to get a little splashy with occasional showers and some rogue thunderstorms, so umbrellas at the ready!

Winds are keeping it moderate from the east to northeast and can get a bit gusty when those thunderstorms roll in. The seas are moderate too, so sailors might want to keep their sails trimmed.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, expect similar antics with cloudy periods, some sneaky showers, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms bringing more heavy falls. It’s like weather déjà vu, but with even more chances for a splash!

– For Navua, Suva, and Nausori: clouds are playing their part, with some showers likely to pop up.
– In Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba: get ready for afternoon or evening excitement with showers and the possibility of thunderstorms bursting onto the scene.

Lastly, Rotuma is looking pretty fine, with only afternoon or evening showers and a bit of thunder to keep things spicy. Moderate easterly winds and seas are on the menu.
