Situation:
An east to southeast wind flow is sweeping over the group, with a weak trough of low pressure nudging in from the northeast. In short: the sky may mix a bit of drama with the sunshine.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
– Occasional showers and possible isolated thunderstorms over Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.
– Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra-Rakiraki, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Yasawa, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Occasional showers expected tomorrow.
– Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls likely.
– Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood-prone areas.
– Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated brief afternoon showers.
