Fiji Weather Forecast: Partly Cloudy with Isolated Showers and Cool Nights Expected

Brought to you straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi, at 10:45am on Friday, the 30th of May 2025. Grab your umbrellas and shades, here’s what to expect for the Fiji group until midnight tomorrow:

For the charming regions of Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and those little islands nearby (you know who you are, Lau and Lomaiviti): get ready for a mix of partly cloudy skies with a dash of isolated brief showers. Think of it as nature’s confetti — just don’t get too excited!

For everyone else in glorious Fiji: it’s mainly fine, which is just our way of saying “sunshine alert!” And do prepare for cool nights where the temperature seems to think it’s a fan at a karaoke contest – cooling off nicely!

As for the winds, they’re moderate and blowing east to southeast, which is just their way of saying “let’s keep it breezy.” And yes, the seas are moderate too, but let’s keep that roughness limited to our karaoke nights, shall we?

Now, looking ahead to Sunday: expect some cloudy periods with chances of showers in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, and Lomaiviti. Meanwhile, other parts might enjoy fine weather, just with the occasional afternoon or evening shower dropping by uninvited. Cool nights, of course!

For Navua / Suva / Nausori: Partly cloudy with isolated brief showers — nothing too dramatic! And same cool nights awaiting you.

For Sigatoka/Coral Coast, Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Mainly fine, so maybe you’ll get to keep that sunscreen close. All areas enjoy cool nights.

Tavua/Rakiraki will have a bit of a party: partly cloudy with some brief shower personalities popping up. Cool nights to cap it off.

Natadradave/Korovou: your forecast hangs out in partly cloudy territory with isolated brief showers. And yes, you guessed it, cool nights ahead.

For the Yasawa/Mamanuca group: they are living the dream with mainly fine weather and delightful cool nights.

Labasa is also looking mainly fine, cool nights included, while Savusavu has some partly cloudy antics on the agenda, plus isolated brief showers for excitement.

Lastly, for our friends in Lau/Lomaiviti and Kadavu: expect partly cloudy skies sprinkled with brief showers. Yes, you got it, cool nights to snuggle in.

And for Rotuma: the easterly wind flow is keeping things breezy there too! Expect fine conditions with just a cheeky afternoon or evening shower knocking at your door.
