Weather Update
Brought to you straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi, where our forecasts come with a side of humor!
As we sail into the night of May 28, 2025, the weather for our beloved Fiji group is looking like a trendy fashion choice of partly cloudy with a sprinkle of brief showers—perfect for those of you who never leave the house without an umbrella! This mix seems to be particularly fashionable in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, and those buzzing nearby islands, including Lau and Lomaiviti.
Now, elsewhere in Fiji, it’s all smooth sailing with fine weather. Just watch out for potential afternoon or evening showers trying to crash the party—because what’s a sunny day without a little drama?
Nighttime temperatures will slide into the cool zone, making your bed seem like a heavenly retreat. Winds will come from the southeast, giving that breezy feeling like Mother Nature is gently pushing you toward relaxation. The seas are moderate too, so if you’re planning on a nighttime swim, make sure to boast that you are swimming with style!
Looking ahead to Friday, we might see a few more clouds trying to join the festivities, especially over the severe party hubs of Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, and Lomaiviti—get ready for some showers!
For those reveling around Navua, Suva, and Nausori, expect a repeat performance of partly cloudy skies and the occasional flirt with brief showers.
Meanwhile, the lucky folks in Sigatoka and along the Coral Coast can bask in fine weather—until afternoon or evening showers come knocking on the door. And just to keep it cozy, the nights will stay cool!
In Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba, keep the sunny vibes coming with fine weather and maybe a surprise shower or two in the afternoon.
If you find yourself in Tavua or Rakiraki, it’s partly cloudy with just a hint of showers to keep you on your toes.
For Korovou and Natadradave, you’ll get a taste of those brief showers too—but cool nights make it all worth it, right?
Over in the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, enjoy the fine weather while it lasts—gotta keep it cool at night, of course!
Labasa is on the fine weather train, but watch out for those sneaky isolated showers later on.
Savusavu and Kadavu are similarly blessed with part-cloudy skies and some showers ready to surprise you.
Lastly, if you’re in Rotuma, expect some drama as a trough of low pressure swings by, bringing cloudy skies, showers, and maybe a thunderstorm or two as if the weather is trying to make a show-stopping entrance.
Stay tuned for matching outfits and an umbrella handy—Friday’s forecast promises a little bit of everything!
