Situation: An east to southeast wind flow is sweeping over the group. A weak trough of low pressure to the northeast is expected to affect the country from tomorrow.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls likely from tomorrow. Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood-prone areas. Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated brief afternoon or evening showers. Moderate east to southeast winds. Moderate seas.

Outlook for Monday: Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
