Fiji Weather Forecast: Fine Conditions with Isolated Showers, Moderate to Fresh Easterly Winds, Rough Seas, and Rotuma Strong Wind Warning

Weather Update: October 30, 2025

Well, folks, it looks like the easterly winds have decided to stick around Fiji, enjoying the tropical vibes just a little too much! Meanwhile, there’s a sneaky little trough drifting our way from the northeast, ready to bestow some moisture upon our lovely islands starting late Saturday. So if you thought it was all sunshine and rainbows, well, you might want to keep an umbrella handy!

Now, here’s what the weather gods have in store for us until midnight tomorrow:

We can expect generally fine weather, with just a few brief showery surprises over the interiors and eastern sides of Macuata, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, including Taveuni and its tiny friends, as well as the eastern nooks of Viti Levu. Lau and Lomaiviti won’t escape this splish-splash action either! Elsewhere, the sun will flex its muscles and dominate the sky.

Winds will be moderate to fresh, swirling around from the east, which sounds like the perfect backdrop for a beach barbecue—unless you’re a seagull, in which case it could be treacherous! Sea conditions might be a little bumpy, but they’ll calm down later tonight—so no need to panic- but maybe put a life jacket on that inflatable unicorn.

Looking ahead to Saturday, we’re in for some “surprise showers”—that’s just the weather’s way of keeping things interesting, isn’t it? Expect some clouds and the occasional drizzle in the same areas we mentioned earlier, while the rest of you can party in the sunshine—but stay alert for any afternoon thunderstorm antics!

Here’s the weather scoop for some key areas:

**Navua / Suva / Nausori:** Fine apart from those pesky brief showers. Tomorrow’s temps will be cozy: Min: 24, Max: 30. On Saturday, we’re in for a repeat performance.

**Sigatoka/Coral Coast:** Mainly fine with a twist of perfection—Tomorrow: Min: 22, Max: 31. Saturday brings a possibility of an afternoon sprinkle.

**Nadi / Lautoka / Ba:** Sunshine reigns supreme! Tomorrow: Min: 23, Max: 34. On Saturday, we might see showers crash the sun party but don’t worry—still looks marvelous!

**Tavua/Rakiraki:** Keep those sunglasses handy because it’s mainly fine! Tomorrow: Min: 23, Max: 33. Saturday could bring an intermittent shower.

**For Rotuma:** A strong wind warning is still bellowing like a disgruntled weather wizard! Winds are expected to ease up tomorrow, and you’ll be gifted with some cloud and sprinkles. Tomorrow: Min: 26, Max: 32. Saturday could bring some thunderstorms to spice things up!

And there you have it! Whether you’re soaking up the sun or dodging the showers, just remember to keep the spirit high. Happy weathering, everyone!
