Weather Update
Greetings, Fiji! It’s your trusty weather messenger bringing you the scoop on what’s happening in the skies and on the ground. Grab your umbrellas—if only for dramatic flair—because it looks like we might have a touch of rain on the horizon!
For today, we’re in for a treat with plenty of sunshine across the islands, except for a naughty little interruption from brief showers in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri and Ra, as well as in Kadavu and its tiny sidekicks. Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, Lau, and the Lomaiviti groups are also in for some brief refreshing splashes. Elsewhere? Just fine and dandy, aside from the occasional unexpected dribble in the afternoon or evening. Keep an ear out for potential thunderclaps—Viti Levu and Vanua Levu may just want to show off their electric side later today.
Expect moderate southeast winds gently whispering through the trees and seas that are by no means raging—just moderately playful.
Now, looking ahead to Thursday, expect a splash of clouds, particularly over the usual suspects of Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, and the south. But don’t worry, it’s still sun-drenched in between those fluffy little clouds. The thunderstorms could rear their heads again, but we’re pretty sure they’ll just be passing through.
Let’s break it down by locations, shall we?
– **Navua / Suva / Nausori**: Warm and sunny with just a fleeting shower here or there. Max today: a cozy 30 degrees. Tomorrow’s in for a min of 22 and max of 30. Thursday? Cloudy moments and brief drizzles are back, but still hitting 30.

– **Sigatoka/Coral Coast**: Unless you’re planning a water fight, you’ll be fine—just watch for some light showers popping up later on. Today’s max is a balmy 30 degrees. And yes, you guessed it—tomorrow’s min is 22 with a lovely max of 30, plus similar vibes for Thursday.
– **Nadi / Lautoka / Ba**: Sunshine with an occasional stubborn squirt of rain. Today we’re basking in 33 degrees. Don’t forget: tomorrow brings a min of 23 and max of 33, staying on theme for Thursday, too!
– **Tavua/Rakiraki**: Still basking in fine weather with just a hint of afternoon showers. Today’s max is set at 32. Tomorrow’s min is 23 with a high of 32. And more of the same expected on Thursday.
For our island-hopping folks in **Yasawa/Mamanuca**, **Labasa**, **Savusavu**, and **Taveuni**, expect similar sunny delights punctuated occasionally by some uninvited showers. Coming in hot with a max of 31 for Yasawa/Mamanuca today, while Labasa and Taveuni linger around 32 degrees.
**Kadavu**: It’s a pleasant day ahead with a cool 30 degrees. The forecast doesn’t miss a beat—brief showers likely sticking their noses in tomorrow.
And as for **Rotuma**: An easterly breeze is making things very pleasant—you’re looking at a tranquil 31 degrees today with a chance of brief showers.
So, Fijians, pack your shades and maybe keep that umbrella handy—just for dramatic effect. It’s going to be lovely, just with some occasional mischievous showers trying to steal the spotlight! Enjoy the beautiful weather!
