Weather Alert: The Sky’s Getting Chatty
Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at 5:30 am on this fine Tuesday morning of December 2, 2025.
Grab your umbrellas, Fiji! We’ve got cloudy periods and brief showers looming over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri and Ra, Kadavu, and their tiny island pals. For those in southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and the cute little nearby islands, Lau and Lomaiviti—brace yourselves for the dripping fun!
Now, don’t worry! Elsewhere it’s looking fine, except for the occasional afternoon or evening shower—think of them as thirsty clouds needing a sip. Viti Levu and Vanua Levu could even serve up some towering thunderstorms, just to keep things electrifying!
Meanwhile, the southeast winds are moderating at a level that won’t mess up your hair too much, and seas are equally moderate, perfect for some leisurely splashes!
Looking ahead to Wednesday: More of the same! Cloudy periods and brief showers will continue the party over our familiar faces—Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, and Ra, along with Kadavu and their mates. Most places will just experience a little sprinkle or two in the afternoon or evening.
Here’s the nitty-gritty for specific spots:
Navua / Suva / Nausori: Cloudy with brief showers bringing you a lovely min of 21 and a max of 30. Tomorrow could repeat that, but we’ll bump the min up to 23!
Natadradave/Korovou: Expect more of the cloudy conditions and showers with the same min and max as above. Sneaky showers seem to love this area!
Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Sunshine with a chance of one or two cheeky showers in the afternoon. A comfy min of 22 and a warm max of 30 awaits! Tomorrow, just a tad warmer at max 31.
Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Sunshine reigns mostly except for afternoon showers wanting to crash the party. Enjoy a cozy min of 22 and a sizzling max of 33!
Tavua/Rakiraki: Keep an eye out for those isolated showers in the afternoon. You’ll enjoy a sweet range of 22 to 32!
For Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Sunshine will cozy up with eternal afternoon showers. Min of 22 and max of 31—perfect for a sunny escape!
For Labasa: All fine except for some rogue afternoon showers and thunderstorms popping in uninvited. Min: 22, Max: 33, which might just tempt the sun gods to stay a tad longer.
Savusavu, Nabouwalu and Taveuni: Expect cloudy conditions with some showers. You’ll be blessfully cozy with a min of 22 and max of 29, for all days.
Lau and Lomaiviti: Batman would be proud of the cloudy nights—brief showers bring a min of 22 and max of 29 to keep everyone snuggly!
Kadavu: Same cloudy message with brief showers. Minimum of 22 degrees and a delightful maximum of 29—you might just need to keep your trusty umbrella close!
For Rotuma: Get ready for a gentle easterly breeze, making it lovely. Expect fine weather with brief showers and the same delightful range of 24 and max of 32.
So, there you have it, Fiji! More clouds than sunshine but with a bit of charm—just like a rainy day at the beach! Happy weather day!
