Weather Update
Greetings, Fiji! It’s that time again when we bring you the scoop on what’s brewing outside. Buckle up for a rollercoaster of a forecast as we dive into the details.
For the rest of today, expect some moody clouds to hover over Navua, Suva, Nausori, and a few other provinces as they contemplate life’s big questions. Showers will pop up like an unexpected guest at a party, but don’t worry, elsewhere it’ll be mostly fine with only a chance of an afternoon or evening shower—just enough to keep your raincoat on your toes!
Oh, and keep an eye out for isolated thunderstorms that might just crash the party, bringing heavy downpours that could lead to some exciting “flash floods” in low-lying areas. So, if you’re planning to revisit your childhood boat-building skills, now might be the time!
As for winds, they’ll be moderate to fresh – perfect for flying a kite, if you enjoy a little resistance. And don’t even think about going for a tranquil swim, as seas will be moderate to rough. Let’s just say, you’ll want to treat the ocean with respect this week!
Looking ahead to Friday, the trend continues with more clouds and a sprinkle of showers for the usual suspects – Navua, Suva, and friends. In other areas, fine weather will reign, with just the occasional shower to keep things interesting. Keep your umbrellas handy, just in case those thunderstorms decide to crash your picnic again!

Navua / Suva / Nausori: Cloudy, maxing out at 31°C today with the same temperature on the menu tomorrow after a tropical night of 24°C.
Natadradave/Korovou: Same deal – expect a bit of rain and some thunder upon invitation.
Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Lovely weather except for a few surprise showers.
Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Paradise, with just a side order of rain.
Tavua/Rakiraki: Keep that sunscreen handy with max temperatures at 32°C and just a chance of thunder to keep us all on our toes!
Yasawa/Mamanuca group, we see you too – you’re also looking dashing with mostly sunny skies and just a sprinkle or two.
Labasa: You’ll bask in fine weather with a max of 33°C. Don’t forget the shades!
Savusavu and Nabouwalu: Clouds will likely join your party with some rain.
Taveuni and the Lau and Lomaiviti group: Prepare for some splashes and crashes as thunderstorms join the mix.
Kadavu: Expect delightful weather, but with a surprise shower or two.
Rotuma: Here’s a plot twist—occasional heavy showers are in the story, along with some winds trying their best to blow you away!
