Weather Update
Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi, at your service since, well, whenever they started!
So, grab your umbrella or your sunglasses – depending on which way the weather gods are feeling today. Here’s your weather outlook for the Fiji group until midnight tomorrow:
Get ready for a delightful mix of cloudiness and showers over our beloved Sigatoka-Korolevu, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, and all the way to Taveuni and those enchanting nearby islands, as well as Lau and Lomaiviti, and Kadavu. While other parts of Fiji bask in partly cloudy splendor, you folks in the shower zone would do well to dance in the drizzle with a smile. Nights are cooler than a polar bear’s toenails, so don’t forget to snag a cozy blanket.
Winds will be moderately fresh from the southeast, likely causing your hairdo to resemble a wind tunnel experiment. Seas might be moderate to rough, which is just a fancy way of saying that your boat ride could feel like a bumpy roller coaster.
For Thursday, expect a repeat of clouds and showers for our beloved regions to the south and southeast; meanwhile, enjoy the sunny side of life elsewhere in the archipelago. Nights will remain cool, so consider an extra layer unless you want to be visited by the chilly ghost of unpreparedness!
Here are the highlights for specific regions:
