Attention, sunshine seekers and rain dancers! Here’s what Mother Nature has orchestrated for the Fiji group until midnight tomorrow:
Get ready for some action on the east side! The interior and eastern areas of Macuata, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, the eastern slice of Taveuni, and those cute nearby smaller islands will be feeling a bit cloudy with a sprinkle of showers. Viti Levu’s eastern and interior sectors (that’s right, from Serua-Namosi through to Tailevu North) will also join the party, along with Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Everywhere else might deliver a dry performance today, but don’t be surprised if brief afternoon or evening showers decide to crash the scene.
As for the winds, consider them moderately fresh, leading to moderate to rough seas. So if you were planning on sailing your way to the weekend, hold onto your hats!
Looking ahead to Friday: Forecasts predict lots of sunshine, with just a few brief showers casting their fluffy clouds about the interior and eastern parts of Viti Levu (that includes our friends from Suva to Rakiraki), Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, Kadavu, and the nearby islands. The rest can expect that lovely fine weather.
