Weather Bulletin
Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi
Rise and shine, weather watchers! It’s 5:30 AM on this picturesque Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and while the calendar says one thing, the clouds might have missed the memo about sunny weather.
At least we have a nice little easterly wind flow, making it feel like Mother Nature just decided to send a refreshing breeze our way.
Now, what’s on the weather menu today for the Fiji group? Expect some cloudy periods with a side of brief showers in the interior and eastern regions of Macuata, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, eastern Taveuni, and the smaller islands nearby. If you’re in the interior and eastern parts of Viti Levu—think Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, and Tailevu North—you might want to pack your raincoat or at least a good book to enjoy while waiting for the rain to pass. Lau and Lomaiviti groups also join the shower party.
The weather elsewhere? A glorious fine day awaits – apart from that pesky afternoon or evening shower that might intrude on your plans.
Now for the winds: expect a moderate to fresh breeze, which might just be strong enough to send your hat flying! And as for the seas, let’s just say they’ll be moderate to rough – perhaps time to practice your best pirate impression!
Looking forward to Thursday, we roll the weather dice again! More cloudy periods and showers in the eastern and interior regions of Viti Levu—yup, you guessed it, perfect weather for a good old-fashioned puddle jump! As usual, expect afternoon or evening heavy falls and the occasional rumble of thunder – considered the DJ of today’s weather.
