Greetings, weather enthusiasts! Let’s check out what’s brewing in the skies above Fiji.
Today:
Looks like today tried its best to impress, presenting mainly fine conditions for most of the islands. If you’re planning a night out, it’s cool enough to throw on a light sweater—because who doesn’t love a little chill in the air!
Tomorrow’s Forecast:
Buckle up! Tomorrow, the clouds might want to join the party, especially over the Interior and Eastern parts of Viti Levu—from Serua-Namosi to the vibrant cities of Navua, Suva, and Nausori. Oh, and let’s not forget the Southern Bua, Cakaudrove (including the gem that is Taveuni), along with our charming neighbors Kadavu, Lau, and the Lomaiviti groups. Expect a few showers to crash the fun while the rest of you farther afield will mostly enjoy sunny skies with the occasional dramatic afternoon or evening sprinkle.
The winds will make their presence known as well, blowing moderately from the southeast with enough gusto to remind you why your hat sometimes just seems to want to fly away. Seas are moderate to rough, so keep your sea legs strong!
Outlook for Thursday:
What’s that? Thunderstorms? Yes, you heard right! On Thursday, the clouds have big plans with possibly hefty downpours across our Eastern and Interior regions, while the rest can expect intermittent calm with the possibility of scattered wet surprises. Those southeasterly winds will still be around, behaving themselves, and we can expect moderate seas.

And for our friends in Rotuma: A lazy trough of low pressure is lounging just north, causing a few showers, but don’t worry, mainly fine conditions are still here! Tomorrow, minimum of 25 and maximum of 30, while Thursday will bring clouds and possible thunderstorms.
So there you have it, Fijians! Keep those umbrellas ready just in case the weather feels less like cooperating and more like surprising you with an uninvited shower. Happy weather day!
