Well folks, it looks like a weak trough of low pressure has decided to make itself cozy over our beautiful islands for the next few days. Think of it as the weather’s way of introducing a little drama to our sun-soaked lives!

For your forecast until the clock strikes midnight tomorrow:
Today, expect cloudy patches with showers sprinkling about like confetti at a party—only this time, the party is inside your umbrella. Tomorrow will bring much of the same for Viti Levu, Yasawa, Mamanuca, Kadavu and their smaller friends; just a little more ambitious with afternoon or evening rain. However, don’t be surprised by the sun popping out occasionally to steal the show—especially in Southern Bua and Cakaudrove, where it plans to come out mainly fine, except for a sprinkling of those elusive showers.

Winds will be blowing moderately from the northwest, and the seas are feeling a tad moderate too—ideal for the thrill-seekers out there, but maybe give the kiddie pool a go if you’re not up for it!

Now, what does Friday hold? Expect a mix of cloudy moments and showers dancing around Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua and Cakaudrove, Taveuni, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, with Kadavu joining the party as well. It sounds like an outdoorsy sort of day, just watch for afternoon thunderstorms on Viti Levu and Vanua Levu; they’ll be the ones providing the soundtrack!

Now for the nitty-gritty:

In Navua / Suva / Nausori, keep an eye out for cloudy spells with some showers tomorrow, with temps chilling at a comfy min of 23 and reaching a max of 28.
On Friday, expect the same cloudy vibes with showers giving you a wink—min 22, max 29.

Moving over to Sigatoka/Coral Coast, you’re looking at some cloudy periods with showers tomorrow too—min 22, max 29. But Friday looks like it’ll turn things around for you with some fine moments and a cheeky max of 30!

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba, be ready for a cloudy day with a sprinkle of showers—min 22, max 31 tomorrow. Friday promises afternoon or evening showers, but with a warmer max of 32, so don’t forget the sunscreen!

Then there’s Tavua/Rakiraki, also joining the cloudy showers parade tomorrow—min 22, max 29. Friday will be a more shining story, but still watch out for those sneaky evening showers later—min 22, max 30.

On to Natadradave/Korovou, they’ll be experiencing the same cloud arrangements tomorrow with showers around—min 23, max 28. Friday will mirror that with cloudy periods and showers, giving you a min of 22 and a max of 29.

For the Yasawa/Mamanuca group, cloudy periods and showers are also on the agenda—min 22, max 30. Friday may bring its friendly side with fine moments, but don’t rule out some cheeky evening showers.

Labasa gets in on the cloud act today but may have a mainly fine day tomorrow—min 22, max 32. Friday looks to continue the good vibes with a max of 30 and some evening showers looking to visit.

Savusavu and Nabouwalu are experiencing cloudy festivities today, but both are eyeing a fine day tomorrow with the potential for some evening rain—min 22 and 28 for them both on the warmer side.

Taveuni is not left out as it ventures into cloudy territory today, but fear not—tomorrow will mellow out to mainly fine—min 22, max 31.

For Lau and Lomaiviti group, expect similar cloud drama today, with a resolution for a mainly fine day tomorrow—min 22, max 30.

Kadavu, on the final act of this weather reveal, will also get some clouds and showers—min 22, max 28.

And finally, on the island of Rotuma, easterly winds are ruling the day, with cloudy periods punctuated by brief showers—min 25, max 31. Friday won’t change the script much, keeping those clouds and brief showers in the mix.

So, regardless of your plans—stay prepared, keep that umbrella handy, and let’s give a warm welcome to the mix of showers and sunshine ahead! If all else fails, just remember, it’s Fiji—at least it beats snow any day!
