It’s like a game of hide-and-seek in the sky today! The forecast for Fiji, as provided by our friendly forecasters at the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi, calls for a bit of cloud cover and some showers making themselves at home in the interior and eastern parts of Viti Levu. So if you’re in the Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu North, or Southern Bua area, it might be a good idea to pack an umbrella (or two), just in case.
Over in the lovely Cakaudrove, Taveuni, Kadavu, and those quaint little islands nearby, you’re also in for some dampness today. Think of it as nature’s way of sending a little love your way. Meanwhile, if you find yourself elsewhere in Fiji, expect fine weather with maybe a few random drizzles in the afternoon or evening. Nothing like a surprise shower to keep everyone guessing, right?
We’ll have moderate southeast winds, likely whispering sweet nothings as they blow through, and moderate seas, perfect for any wannabe mariners who like to live dangerously.
Looking to Friday? The forecast remains a repeat performance! Expect more cloudy periods and a sprinkle of showers, particularly in those same eastern areas. Sunshine-lovers, fear not! Elsewhere, things should stay mostly sunny with just a few isolated rain ambushes and possibly even a dramatic thunderstorm to keep things interesting!

For our friends in Navua/Suva/Nausori, expect a mix of clouds and showers. Remember to set your range from a cozy 21 to a warm 29 degrees.
In Nadi/Lautoka/Ba, it should stay mostly fine with only a chance of the odd afternoon shower. Soak up the sun with temperatures stretching from 21 to a toasty 32 degrees.
Residents of Sigatoka/Coral Coast, you’re in for a splendid day too! Enjoy the fine weather with a max of 30 to bask in.
Tavua/Rakiraki, you’ll bask in fine weather as well but maybe watch for those sneaky afternoon showers – expect temperatures from 21 to 31 degrees.
Natadradave/Korovou, make sure you have a cozy blanket ready because those clouds and showers are making a home in your area with a gentle high of 28.
Yasawa/Mamanuca group, you’re doing just fine apart from those potential surprise showers, maxing out at 31 degrees!
Now to Labasa, enjoy a fine from start to finish, temperature-wise a splendid 32 degrees awaits!
Savusavu, your day will be a bit cloudier with temperatures peeking at 29.
For Nabouwalu, it’s cloudy with some showers – nothing to write home about, but it’ll keep you cool.
Taveuni, simply put: kind of cloudy with a chance of showers. Your temperature will be around 29 today.
The Lau and Lomaiviti group will also experience some cloud action with showers to join the party, maxing at 29 degrees.
Kadavu, you’re joining the cloud brigade too with max temperatures sitting at 29.
And over in Rotuma, things are looking a bit chaotic with a low-pressure system getting ready to shower the area later today. Expect temperatures from 25 to 30 along with those occasional storms that just can’t resist crashing the party.
