Fiji Weather Forecast: Cloudy Periods with Showers Across the Fiji Group, Easterly Winds and Rough Seas; Rotuma Strong Wind Warning

Weather Update
Brought to you by your friendly weather wizards at the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi—just your typical Tuesday morning at 5:30am on October 28, 2025!

So, what’s cooking in the sky today? Well, our atmospheric chef has decided on a delightful mix of moist easterly winds to keep things spicy. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to don your raincoat while showing off your flip-flops!

Forecast for the Fiji group until midnight tonight includes some cloudy periods with showers crashing the party—especially in the Interior and eastern parts of Viti Levu (think Navua, Suva, Nausori, and all the way up to Rakiraki). Southern Bua, Cakaudrove (yes, that includes Taveuni!), along with our lovely islands of Kadavu and those neighbors in Lau and Lomaiviti, are also invited to the shower fest.

Fear not, though; elsewhere, it’s mostly fine apart from the occasional cheeky afternoon or evening shower. And hold on tight, because possible thunderstorms are in the cards—who said weather couldn’t throw a surprise party?

Expect moderate to fresh easterly winds turning the sea into a moderate rollercoaster ride. A little rough to keep things interesting!

Looking ahead to Wednesday, it’s more of the same. Cloudy periods with some showers invited back to the bash for our eastern sides of Viti Levu while the western folks enjoy mostly fine weather—remember to pack an umbrella just in case!

For our specific locales:

– **Navua/Suva/Nausori:** It’s cloudy with showers. Pack that jacket! Min: 23, Max: 29.
– **Nadi/Lautoka/Ba:** Fine weather but keep an eye out for afternoon shenanigans (showers and thunderstorms!). Min: 24, Max: 33.

And, if you’re near **Rotuma**, definitely hold onto your hats because strong winds will make an appearance. While you might be wishing for pirate adventures out there, it’s mostly cloudy with brief showers—stay safe! Tomorrow’s magic numbers are Min: 25, Max: 32 with an outlook of the same beautiful chaos.

So there you have it! Gear up and embrace this topsy-turvy weather, Fiji, because it promises to keep you on your toes (or umbrella!). Don’t forget to watch out for those cheeky thunderstorms—they’ve got a habit of crashing the best outdoor plans!
