Weather Update

Situation: The winds are blowing in from the east-southeast, just like your neighbor’s over-enthusiastic garden hose during a sunny day.
Forecast until midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Prepare your umbrellas (or at least your pool floaties) for some cloudy spells sprinkled with brief showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, Taveuni, the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, and any small island happy to join the party. Elsewhere? Well, it’s mainly fine – just bask in those rays. Expect moderate to fresh winds that will keep those sweat beads at bay and seas that might be moderate to rough (definitely not a bathtub cruise!). And let’s not forget those cool nights, perfect for snuggling under a blanket like a burrito!
Outlook for Monday: More of the same with cloudy periods and showers in the usual suspects. The rest of you will continue to enjoy sunny skies basked in a cool breeze as you wonder why your neighbors chose to play in the rain.
For Navua / Suva / Nausori: Get ready for more cloud cover and the occasional shower. Remember to bring your cool weather jacket when night falls — it’s not a contest for who can stay coldest!
For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Mainly fine days ahead! May the sun shine brightly, and keep the nights cool enough to test out your collection of light sweaters.
For Coral Coast/Sigatoka: Cloudy periods come knocking with brief showers. Other than that, it’s a fine time ahead. Those cool nights will almost make you consider a hot cocoa — almost.
For Tavua/Rakiraki: Expect more cloudy days with brief showers, keeping your umbrella as your new best friend. It’s mainly fine elsewhere, so enjoy while you can!
For Natadradave/Korovou: Join the club of cloudy periods with showers, and enjoy those crisp cool nights.
For Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Mostly fine skies here, but don’t let your guard down — the cool nights are welcoming for all!
For Labasa: Cloudy periods and brief showers with pleasant nights that demand you grab a light blanket.
For Savusavu: More clouds and showers for you, too! Cool nights will make sleeping feel like a dream.
For Kadavu: Clouds with brief showers are in the cards, paired perfectly with those cool nights.
For Rotuma: A STRONG WIND WARNING is in effect, treating you to a breezy experience if you love an exhilarating adventure. Expect rough seas and cloudy periods with the occasional shower. Hold on to your hats, folks!
