Fiji Weather Forecast: Cloudy Periods with Brief Showers Across Fiji, Thunderstorms Possible in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu; Elsewhere Fine with Isolated Showers

Weather Wrap-Up

Greetings from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi! It’s currently 3:30pm on a not-so-sunny Monday, December 1st, 2025, and we’ve got your forecast until midnight tomorrow.

Prepare your umbrellas but keep your sunglasses handy because we’re looking at cloudy periods accompanied by some brief showers across the beautiful lands of Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Kadavu, and neighboring islands, plus the Northern Division, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups. Yep, that’s a lot of regions to don your raincoat! Meanwhile, other areas might luck out and stay fine, but don’t get too comfortable; expect a surprise shower or two in the afternoon or evening.

Thunderstorms might be crashing the party over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, so if you see dark clouds rolling in, it’s not just your emotions!

Winds are going to be moderate from the southeast—perfect for flying kites but perhaps not so great for those who prefer a calm sea. Expect moderate seas too, so maybe hold off on the wave jumping until later.

Now, what about Wednesday? Don’t pack away those umbrellas just yet! We’re predicting another round of cloudy periods with brief showers for many of the same regions including Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, and our friends in Tailevu and Kadavu. It’s like we’re stuck on repeat! And yes, keep an eye on the skies for those afternoon thunderstorms over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

Let’s break down some forecasts for specific areas:

In Navua, Suva, and Nausori, expect cloudy skies with brief showers tomorrow. Temperature will range from a cozy 23 to a warmer 30. Not bad!

Natadradave/Korovou—the weather’s on your side! Cloudy with a side of brief showers, and the thermostat will also be hanging out between 23 and 30.

As for Sigatoka/Coral Coast, you’ll be basking in the sunshine except for those rogue afternoon or evening showers. Enjoy 23 to 30 degrees!

Now, if you’re chilling in Nadi, Lautoka, or Ba, you can look forward to fine weather but not without an occasional splashing during the afternoon or evening. You’ll get 24 to 33 of delightful warmth.

Tavua and Rakiraki will enjoy a fine day too, but keep an eye out for those afternoon drizzles, with temperatures anywhere from 24 to 32.

The Yasawa/Mamanuca group will charm you with sunny spells but watch out for those sneaky afternoon showers and even thunderstorms! Get ready for 22 to 31 degrees of island bliss.

For Labasa, the skies will be cloudy with brief puddles of joy—tomorrow’s highs will be a warm 33!

Savusavu, Nabouwalu, and Taveuni are set for some cloudy periods and brief showers. Expect temperatures around the comfy 23 to 29 degrees range.

Lau and Lomaiviti, get ready for some cloudy spells with brief showers too. Pack your umbrellas and expect temperatures around 23 to 29.

And finally, for our friends in Kadavu, you guessed it—cloudy periods with brief showers. Topping out at a pleasant 29 degrees, but don’t forget to take waterproof shoes!

As for our friends in Rotuma, those moderate southeasterly winds bring more cloudy periods and some showers. Tomorrow could see temperatures between 24 and 32.

So get ready to swap between sunglasses and umbrellas, because it looks like the weather is just as indecisive as a kid at a candy shop!
