Weather Report
Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi, because someone’s got to keep an eye on the skies!

So listen up, future weather aficionados, here’s what you can expect from now until midnight tomorrow across the fabulous Fiji Islands!

Brace yourselves for some cloudy spells, mixing things up with brief showers over the interior and coastal areas of southeastern Viti Levu—from Serua/Namosi, through Navua to Suva and up to Korovou. Kadavu and its tiny pals, southern parts of Vanua Levu (Southern Bua, Cakaudrove for those keeping score), Taveuni, Lau, and Lomaiviti group also have a rain dance going on. Meanwhile, if you’re elsewhere, it’s all sunshine and good vibes!

As the sun sets, prepare for relatively cool nights—perfect for pulling out that long-lost sweater you thought you’d never wear again.

Expect a refreshing breeze blowing in from the south to southeast—moderate most of the time, but fancy the odd gust to remind you that it’s still a bit nippy out there. And for those of you taking to the high seas, the waters are moderate to rough—so hulls up, sailors!

Looking ahead to Monday: More of the same, folks! Cloudy periods and brief showers will continue to parade across those southeastern regions of Viti Levu, along with Kadavu, Vanua Levu, and the other islands mentioned earlier. But fear not, those of you outside of that area can likely bask in fine weather.

Specifics for Navua, Suva, and Nausori: cloudy periods with a splash of showers. Cool nights are on the menu.

For our friends in Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba: enjoy the splendid fine weather; just expect some excuse to cuddle under the covers because cool nights are here.

Coral Coast and Sigatoka, congratulations! It looks like you’re basking in the same fine weather. Perfect for enjoying the view—just remember to wear a light jacket when night falls.

If you’re in Tavua or Rakiraki, celebrate your good fortune under clear skies and cool evenings too.

For Natadradave and Korovou: brace yourselves for some brief showers that might just drop in uninvited. Cool nights are still on the radar.

Yasawa and the Mamanuca group, luck is on your side with splendid weather and cool nights.

In Labasa, enjoy the fine weather while it lasts. Cool nights are also knocking at your door.

Savusavu, you can expect a bit of cloudiness with some occasional showers. It’s like the sky is giving you a gentle reminder that rain happens!

Lau and Lomaiviti group, your weather is following the script of clouds and brief showers, while Kadavu is experiencing a similar tale.

As for Rotuma, there’s a bit of drama in the air with a trough of low pressure making things interesting. Expect some cloudiness, isolated thunderstorms, and a moderate to fresh southeast wind flow in your mix. Just keep your umbrella handy for those occasional showers!

Outlook for Monday in Rotuma: watch out! Occasional showers and a dash of thunderstorms are still hanging around to keep life exciting!

That’s all for today, folks! Enjoy the weather, and don’t forget your umbrellas, or your sunhats, depending on your location!
