Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round for the latest scoop on the great outdoors! Our friends in Fiji are in for a bit of a mix, with cloud cover trying its best to steal the limelight. Expect your fair share of cloudy spells and a few shy showers sneaking in over Navua, Suva, Nausori, Korovou, Rakiraki, and the surrounding regions. If you’re in Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri-Tailevu, Ra, Southern Bua-Cakaudrove, Kadavu, or the nearby islands, don’t forget your umbrella—those brief showers are feeling rather social!
Meanwhile, for those who live elsewhere—you’re living the fine life! You’ve got mainly sunny skies above you while the rest of us deal with a little cloud drama. And, don’t be surprised if the nights give you a refreshing chill that makes you wish you had extra blankets or at least an excuse to cuddle up!
Winds will come in with a moderate to fresh southeasterly flair, while the seas are trying to keep things exciting with a rough twist. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got moderate southerly swells adding an extra touch of vigor—perfect for the adventurous souls out there!
Looking ahead to Saturday, prepare for a repeat performance over Navua, Suva, Nausori, Korovou, Rakiraki, and their cohorts. The same cloudy periods and brief showers plan to drop by unannounced once again. Elsewhere will remain fine, so if you know anyone bragging about the weather, feel free to remind them about our ‘cloudy comrades.’
In the specifics:
– For Navua / Suva / Nausori: Expect a re-run of cloudy periods with those brief showers trying to rain on your parade! Don’t forget it cools down nicely at night.
– Over in Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Mainly sunshine and smiles, with nighttime temperatures cooling off just enough for your favorite sweater.
– For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba: Bastions of fine weather continue! Cool nights await—time to catch up on those late-night snacks under a blanket.
– Over at Tavua/Rakiraki: Fair skies rule the day! And yes, it cools down at night—no surprise there, right?

– In Yasawa/Mamanuca: Keep basking in the pleasing weather—fine days and cooler nights ahead.
– Labasa also gets the golden ticket of fine weather; they’ve got it made!
– Over in Savusavu: Don’t forget your umbrella again—the cloud clock ticks with occasional showers.
– And for the lovely islands of Lau and Lomaiviti, paired with Kadavu: Cloudy periods and brief showers spin their charm as the night cools down.
Now, for Rotuma, brace yourselves; a STRONG WIND WARNING continues as Mother Nature puts on a wild show. With a slow-moving trough of low pressure, occasional heavy showers and a few thunderous applause make for an electrifying atmosphere! Residents can expect southeast winds hustling at 20 to 25 knots, making sailing a rather eventful endeavor!
So there you have it, folks! Get your adventure shorts (or cozy pajamas, whichever suits your fancy), and make the most of whatever weather comes your way!
