Fiji Weather Forecast: Cloudy Conditions with Showers, Isolated Thunderstorms and Southeast Winds Across the Fiji Islands

Weather Update

Good morning, Fiji! It’s December 1st, 2025, and the Southeast winds are flowing over us like a friendly neighbor offering to borrow your lawnmower. Here’s what to expect today, so you can plan whether to bring an umbrella or just your charming personality!

Today’s forecast includes cloudy periods with showers, especially if you find yourself in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Kadavu, and a few smaller islands craving attention. Keep an eye out for some heavy downpours sneaking in to surprise you—just like that one friend who always shows up uninvited!

In other parts of the country, there’s a good chance you’ll stay nice and dry, apart from a few cheeky afternoon or evening showers that may pop up unexpectedly. Thunderstorms are rolling out their welcome mat over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, so if you hear some rumbles, don’t be alarmed—it’s just mother nature throwing a little party.

As for the winds? They’re moderate and blowing from the southeast, much like your cool cousin who always knows how to keep things breezy. The seas are moderate too, so those of you planning on a sea adventure need to prepare for little waves of fun!
