A trough of low pressure is projected to affect the northern and eastern parts of the country today and tomorrow. A southeast wind is prevailing in the region. In areas such as Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Taveuni, Cikobia, Qelelevu, eastern Macuata, southern Bua, Ra, and Yasawa group – expect winds of up to 45km/hr from the southeast. In other areas, anticipate moderate to fresh southeast winds, which could become gusty. Be warned of rough seas in these regions.
