Weather Update: Sunday, January 11, 2026 – Your Forecast with a Touch of Humor!

Well folks, grab your raincoats and maybe your rubber boots, because it’s about to get a little soggy around here! A lazy trough of low pressure has decided to settle down south of Viti Levu, bringing along some company in the form of clouds and showers that have decided to crash the party in the southern and eastern parts of our lovely islands. This moody trough is expected to drift north, spreading its rainy cheer all across the group from tonight and sticking around for a few days. So, if you’re planning to do anything outdoors, it might be best to bring your umbrella along as your new best friend!

Now, let’s take a peek at what the weather has in store for each area.

For the Navua, Suva, and Nausori crowd: Expect occasional showers and a few friendly thunderstorms looking to drop in with some isolated heavy falls. Right now, it’s a sizzling max of 30°C, but tomorrow your comfort zone is looking at a low of 24°C and back up to 30°C—perfect for a cozy indoor day or some adventurous puddle jumping!

Heading west to Natadradave/Korovou, it’s also occasional showers and a helping of thunderstorms. Same temperature story here, with 30°C today and a refreshing 24°C on the agenda for tomorrow.

The Coral Coast and Sigatoka are in the same boat, with cloudy spells and a sprinkle of showers. Looks like 30°C is the universal temperature today! Tomorrow, you can expect the same with a cool 23°C. Not too shabby for a Sunday, right?

Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba—cloudy periods, brief showers, and a bit of thunder as well! Today’s max is 30°C and tomorrow comes in hot at a minimum of 23°C. So, maybe keep that hat at the door!

A little north and east, Tavua/Rakiraki will see more of those friendly showers, tipping the scale at 30°C as well. Tomorrow brings a 23°C low, perfect for a chill night in!

The Yasawa/Mamanuca group gets in on the action too! Expect the clouds and those flirty thunderstorms bouncing around back and forth. Same temps—30°C today, 23°C tomorrow. It seems like everyone is on a weather-sharing agreement!
