So, here’s the scoop: we’ve got a little trough of low pressure crashing the party in the northern and eastern parts of the country. It’s bringing along some clouds and a few unexpected showers—because who doesn’t love a surprise shower during their weekend plans?

Here’s what you can expect until midnight tomorrow across the Fiji group:
Prepare for occasional showers, some of which may be on the heavier side—particularly over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, and Ra. If you thought you wouldn’t need your umbrella, think again!

Over in Kadavu and those charming smaller islands, along with the Northern Division, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, expect a little cloud cover with some sprinkles here and there. Isolated heavy falls may occur, too, so your plans for a sunbathing session might need a rethink.

Everywhere else? Well, you might just get lucky with fine weather, though don’t be surprised if an isolated afternoon or evening shower decides to pop in unannounced.

Winds will be a mix of moderate southeast to northwest, transitioning to a lovely southeasterly breeze tomorrow, bringing a hint of coolness for those hot afternoons. And don’t forget about the moderate seas—perfect for a little boat trip, as long as you don’t mind a splash or two!

Outlook for Monday: The occasional shower will once again waltz through Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, and Ra, while cloudy periods with some showers will make an appearance in Cakaudrove, Southern Bua, Lau, Lomaiviti, Taveuni, and their smaller neighbors. Expect a bit of afternoon or evening thunderstorm action over Viti Levu—just in case you thought Monday was going to be dull!
