Greetings, forecast fans! Buckle up because the wind is truly making its presence known today. It’s like Mother Nature has cranked up the fan setting to “tropical cyclone,” with a good dose of sass.

Starting with our friends in Ra-Rakiraki and beyond, the air will be bustling with southeast winds that might just earn you a free, uninvited hair makeover – expect gusts up to a brisk 45 km/hr! So, hold onto your hats, glasses, and anything else that isn’t nailed down. The seas are not feeling cooperative either, with rough waves giving surfers a day to remember, and sailors a bit more than they bargained for.

Over in Suva, Navua, and Nausori, clouds have RSVP’d for a soiree with a few showers in tow. You’ll need your umbrella as your trusty plus one. Cooler temperatures are expected at night, perfect for snuggling up with a warm cuppa.

Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba are showcasing more of those classic Fijian rays. However, don’t be too surprised if an isolated shower decides to drop by like an old friend visiting out of the blue.

On the Coral Coast and in Sigatoka, it’s fine and dandy with cooler nights inviting outdoor evening activities or a good book by the fire.

Our buddies in Tavua and Rakiraki are bracing for those cheeky strong winds, which are so busy that they might need a coffee break by evening. Don’t worry, they plan to slow down to a fresh breeze later on.

In Savusavu and Nabouwalu, keep an eye out for a cloud or two playing hide and seek with the sun and spritzing a few showers. Meanwhile, Labasa is reveling in the sun with a high temperature that’ll make you want to visit the beach pronto.

The Yasawa and Mamanuca groups join the wind party with a similar brew—strong breezes and cooler nights. Expect some brief uninvited guests in the form of showers.

Heading to Rotuma, it’s a windy cocktail with a southeast breeze at 45 km/hr accompanied by rough seas. So, it’s more of a “back to the cozy interior and enjoy the view” kind of day.

Finally, for our island groups of Lau, Lomaiviti, and Kadavu, the winds remain strong and spirited, delivering brief showers alongside cooler nights that could make you long for a classic Fijian blanket.

Stay safe out there, and remember, it’s just weather having a bit of fun. Always have a bit of sunshine in your soul, even if it’s cloudy outdoors!
