Weather Update
Good morning, everyone! It’s 5:30 AM on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, and it appears that Fiji is in for quite a mix today. We’ve got some easterly winds deciding to remain here, giving us a gentle nudge while a low pressure trough makes its way to the group from the north, bringing along a few clouds and showers—kind of like that friend who only shows up when there’s food to share.
Here’s the scoop for the Fiji group today: Expect cloudy periods with some showers in places like Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori-Korovou-Tailevu, Naitasiri-Ra, and many more exotic locations that sound great in travel brochures. These areas are likely to get a good splash of rain, while other parts of Fiji enjoy fine weather, with only a smattering of afternoon or evening showers and the occasional surprise thunderstorm, just to keep things exciting!
The winds will be moderately fresh, so don’t be surprised if your hair starts to look like you just star in a wind commercial. As for the seas, we’re dealing with moderate to rough conditions, so if you’re planning to venture out on a boat, perhaps hold off on practicing your best Titanic poses.
Looking ahead to Monday: More showers are on the way, especially in the usual culprits like Navua-Suva-Nausori and Rakiraki. Expect those showers to be joined by some thunder, because sometimes Mother Nature just can’t resist bringing the drama.
For our specific areas:
– Navua/Suva/Nausori: Cloudy with showers. Min: 22, Max: 30.
– Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Expect fine conditions, only to be interrupted by the shy afternoon shower. Min: 22, Max: 30.
– Nadi/Lautoka/Ba: Great day for a beach trip, despite a few rogue afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Min: 22, Max: 31.
– Tavua/Rakiraki: Expect some clouds to crash the party with rain. Min: 22, Max: 31.
– Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Fine, just don’t forget to dodge the occasional shower. Min: 22, Max: 30.
– Labasa: All systems go, just watch out for sneaky afternoon showers. Min: 22, Max: 32.
– Savusavu: Clouds are feeling generous with showers today. Min: 22, Max: 31.
– And for our friends in Rotuma, say hello to the trough bringing heavy showers. Min: 25, Max: 31.
So grab your umbrellas, sunscreen, or maybe both, because you never know when the sun will come out to play between those rain showers!
