Weather Update
Brought to you straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi
at the slightly too-early hour of 5:30 am on this fine Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Hold onto your hats, Fiji! Our forecast until midnight tonight reveals a spectacular show of cloudy periods, particularly stealing the spotlight over the Interior and Eastern parts of Viti Levu! Think Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva, Nausori, Tailevu North, and areas of Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, Kadavu, Lau, and Lomaiviti – that’s a mouthful! So if you’re planning on venturing out there, pack an umbrella; it could get wet!
Elsewhere, the skies are showing off their fine sides, but keep an eye out for sneaky afternoon or evening showers—better safe than soggy!
The winds are feeling a little lively, coming from the southeast at moderate speeds, with a chance of feeling fresh at times. And for all you seafarers or beach bums: the seas are moderate to rough, so maybe save that boat ride for another day unless you’re in the mood for some saltwater splashes!
Looking ahead to Thursday: More cloudy periods! Yes, folks, the clouds are not done with us yet. Prepare for some showers and the potential for thunderous applause—yes, thunderstorms! This will mainly be the case for the Interior and Eastern Viti Levu regions—don’t let your hair revolutionize like a thunderstorm fashion statement, folks!
The temperature rollercoaster promises a minimum of 19°C rising to a cozy 32°C in some spots.
