Fiji Weather Bulletin: Cloudy Periods with Showers Across Fiji Islands; Monday Outlook Sees Isolated Heavy Falls

Weather Update Just In!

Hello Fiji! Grab your umbrellas (or your superhero capes, if you prefer) because things are looking a tad soggy in certain areas over the weekend and into Monday. Let’s break it down:

For the adventurous souls wandering around Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva, Nausori, and the other geographical names that could use a vacation themselves, get ready for some cloudy periods with showers that might have a knack for popping up when you least expect them. Keep in mind, the islands of Kadavu and Lau will also be getting their splash of wetness. Now, if you’re in the mood for sunshine—fear not! Most other regions are set to be sunny, with only a few renegade showers or thunderstorms attempting to rain on your parade (literally).

Easterly winds are showing up for a moderate-to-fresh party, which means we’ll have some breezy fun. The seas? Well, they feel like having a party too—expect them to be moderate to rough, so make sure your floaties are on hand just in case!

Looking ahead to Monday, the struggle for sunshine continues as showers seem to want to stick around—certainly been keeping the clouds company! Expect those drizzly friends to become a bit more occasional later on, so you may want to carry an umbrella with you just to be safe.

For you lucky ducks in Navua/Suva/Nausori, the forecast calls for cloudy periods with a sprinkling of showers tomorrow; you’re looking at a comfy min of 22 and a max of 30. Monday won’t stray too far from this theme.

Over in the Coral Coast/Sigatoka region, it’s going to be mostly fine, with just enough possibility of afternoon festivities ignited by thunderstorms to keep things interesting. Min: 22, Max: 30.

Nadi/Lautoka/Ba? Things are sunny with a side of occasional rain showers and thunderstorms thrown in for good measure. Min: 22, Max: 31—perfect weather to get caught in a surprise downpour!

Meanwhile, in Tavua/Rakiraki, expect cloudy behind-the-scenes action, but not too bad—just a few friendly showers popping by.

In Labasa, try to enjoy some fine weather, with only a few autumn-like showers bringing you back to reality; same numbers all around as wild and crazy min: 22 with a max of 32.

Savusavu? Clouding over with showers, making Monday feel a bit melodramatic.

And for those on Rotuma, it’s party time with a low-pressure trough leading to cloudy skies and some thunder boomers. A max of 31 with some good ol’ tropical downpours ahead.

So, there you have it, folks! It’s a mixed bag of weather this weekend. Stay dry, stay sunny, or just roll with the puns as you enjoy the tropical vibes!
