Weather Update
Brought to you by the folks at the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi on this fine day, Monday, December 1, 2025, at 10:45am. Here’s what the weather gods have in store for the beautiful Fijian islands up until midnight tomorrow:
The forecast calls for some cloudy periods with a sprinkle of brief showers across places like Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, and even Ra, Kadavu, and their stylish little nearby islands. Of course, if you happen to be lounging around in the Northern Division, Lau, or the Lomaiviti group, expect the same. Just when you think you’ll escape, the skies will remind you who’s boss!
Elsewhere, the weather is looking like a tropical paradise (which it is!) except for the possibility of a few isolated afternoon or evening showers. And keep your umbrellas handy because we might have a few afternoon or evening thunderstorms rolling over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu later in the day.
We’ll have moderate southeast winds giving the seas a gentle pat on the back. Speaking of which, moderate seas are expected, so maybe save that big boating trip for another day.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, the forecast will serve you another helping of cloudy periods and brief showers in the usual suspects: Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, and those nearby islands, along with southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, and the brand-new, shiny arrivals in Lau and Lomaiviti. The rest might experience a spot of sunshine, but watch out for those sneaky afternoon showers—and yes, more thunderstorms could crash the party over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
As for temperature specifics, let’s break it down:
In Navua / Suva / Nausori: Expect cloudy skies with those brief showers.

The Yasawa/Mamanuca group? You’ll find it mostly fine too!

Our friends in Labasa are in for some cloudiness with brief showers:

Savusavu and Nabouwalu can prepare for cloudy breaks as well:
