Grab your kites and hold onto your hats, because the weather’s got a bit of pep in its step! A strong wind warning is shimmying its way across the coastal land areas, including Ra-Rakiraki, Southern Bua, Eastern Macuata, and the gang of islands like the Yasawa, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups. Even Taveuni, Kadavu, and their nearby tiny pals aren’t missing out on this windy dance party.

Why, you ask? A southeast wind flow is the star of this breezy show.

By midnight tomorrow, expect southeast winds that could puff up to 45km/h, whipping through the specified areas like they’re auditioning for a weather musical. Along with these dramatic gusts, seas will be sporting a rough look.

Clouds will make cameo appearances over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and nearby island groups, providing a brief shower here and there – just enough to freshen things up. Elsewhere, the weather plays it cool and fine, especially at night—perfect for snuggling or star-gazing.

As for Monday, not much is changing its script. The southeast winds keep their 45km/hr performance in the aforementioned areas, with moderate gusts elsewhere. Showers tag along in the usual spots, while the rest enjoy a fine day with the occasional shower cameo in the afternoon or evening. And don’t worry, nights continue to feel refreshingly cool.

Navua, Suva, and Nausori will have their share of clouds and sprinkles, with temperatures comfortably nestled at a high of 28°C. Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba will boast mainly fine weather, with a temperature lineup peaking at 30°C. Sigatoka and the Coral Coast are ready to flaunt a sunlit scene, keeping you cool under the stars at night.

As for our friends in Tavua and Rakiraki, hold onto your umbrellas if you dare to venture outside—they’re getting the windy express! Temperatures will float between comforting lows of 17°C and 20°C, prepping for Monday with much of the same breezy vigor.

And don’t be fooled by the subtlety of Yasawa and Mamanuca – they’re in on this windy act too, with Mother Nature keeping a gentle watch. Meanwhile, Labasa will remain mostly fine, likely causing you to wonder if it’s part of the same weather troupe.

Savusavu checks in with cloudy periods and a few sprinkles, while Nabouwalu and Taveuni follow suit with brisk winds upping the theater of this island production. The Lau and Lomaiviti groups, along with Kadavu, are delighted to maintain their role in this windy narrative, offering brief showers and nighttime coolness.

Last but never least, Rotuma is keeping things stirred up with strong winds over both land and waters. But never fear, these winds will ease a bit as we glide into Monday.

May your days be filled with good weather and even better tales of adventure!
